Dear Flandreau Elementary Families,

It is with great excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the principal of Flandreau Elementary School. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with wonderful students and staff and a supportive school community.

I am a proud Flandreau Public Schools alumna—Go Fliers!—and attended Augustana University and the University of Sioux Falls. Before returning to Flandreau, I taught in the Brandon Valley School District for five years. My heart has always been in Flandreau, and I am grateful to be home and working with the students, staff, families, and stakeholders of Flandreau Public Schools.

At Flandreau Elementary School, we believe all students deserve a high-quality, engaging education. Our staff is committed to setting high expectations for all students while creating a supportive environment that fosters a love of learning.

Our partnership with Flandreau Elementary families is a crucial ingredient in developing our students as learners and leaders. Our staff works hard to keep families informed through phone calls, written communications, our school website, and weekly school newsletters. We also utilize a parent communication platform to help keep families connected and informed.

I believe we have a wonderful year ahead of us! I look forward to partnering with each of you to support the success of our students and to make Flandreau Elementary School a place where every student can learn, grow, and thrive.
